Every key becomes a colour.

We removed traditional notation. What remains is colours and two simple shapes — a circle for the right hand, a triangle for the left. The child follows the colours, and a real song appears under their fingers — often within the first few minutes. Tap the keys below to try the piano right here.

Notes to learn

The method removes traditional notation entirely. Children follow seven colours, never symbols.

No age limit

The same method opens music to a 3-year-old and to an 80-year-old beginner alike.

Let's play a song.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star — see how seven colours come together to make a real song. Hit play and watch each note light up as the piano sings it.

🎵 Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

A simple example from the method — a child's first song, in just colours.

Three groups music too often leaves at the door.

Very young children, children on the autism spectrum or with learning differences, and adults discovering an instrument for the first time. Designed for those three. Works for all three.

Early years (2.5–5)

Children play a real song before they can even read words. No musical background required from the parent.

Special education & autism

Visual, multi-sensory and predictable. Success on the first attempt — building confidence rather than frustration.

Older beginners & care

No memorising, no theory, no pressure. Cognitive engagement and quiet joy — at any age.

Music teachers

A 'Level Zero' before formal notation. Students arrive at their first lesson already in love with the instrument.

No solo piano. Un enfoque de enseñanza musical.

Nuestro método basado en colores y símbolos se está adaptando para cada instrumento donde los niños y principiantes necesiten una entrada amable a la música. El piano es solo el comienzo — violín, ukulele y más están en camino.

Music has no borders.

In our first three months alone, the app has been played in Türkiye, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, the UAE, Colombia, Estonia, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Kosovo, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and Vietnam — across five continents.

Every download is a child or a curious adult playing their very first song. Music doesn't speak any one language.

Dr. Erman Türkili

I developed this colour- and circle-based piano method over years of practice and research. It first appeared as the book 'First Steps of the Little Pianist' and is now also available as an interactive, guided, free app.

I believe a first musical experience should feel like a win, not a wall. I designed the method for the children and adults the music world too often leaves at the door.

Along the way I founded three education centers in the United States. Today I run Bilim ve Sanat Köşkü (Science and Arts Pavilion) and Bilim ve Sanat Kulübü (Science and Arts Club) in Istanbul, bringing music, science and arts discovery to young children (bskcocuk.com). Next year we are opening a new education center in The Hague, the Netherlands — for early years, older adults and special education.
